It's that time again..Christmas Party.. I'll bring the eggnog
Got a call from the Tripp County Democratic Chairman a few days ago. He and his wife are hosting the first annual Tripp County Democratic Party Christmas Party for the third time...I think.
Oh yeah, the date and time. The totally crappy weather has not helped my concentration one bit for the last day or so--- Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the Roger Wonnenberg home. 7:30PM. I guess I am supposed to bring some eggnog. Sounds good to me. My cooking except for coffee today has been less than superb.
I will have to move some snow to get out of here however. 12 or 14 inches of the white stuff here in the Winner area with wind whipping it around at about 55mph has made some nasty piles of snow. I am not even guessing what the streets in Winner look like. School was cancelled today and maybe it will be cancelled tomorrow. At least the lights are still on here.
So, have Holly, Jolly Democratic Christmas. Take your mind off the political disaster that has befallen our dear old USA for a few hours.
